So many of us grew up being told that our bodies were not important or trustworthy. Both Mark and I have worked really hard to integrate our bodies because we have come to understand that our bodies are a gift. We often say “our bodies will tell the truth if we allow”. So yes our bodies are important, and our bodies expose and invite us to a truer narrative. So as you move towards healing, peace, compassion, your truer self may you be curious, kind and compassionate as your body invites you into healing. ❤️ Young CounselingThe Allender Center

Next time you are feeling something significant inside your body, take a deep breath and ask your throat or stomach or chest, "What are you wanting me to know?" and just see what comes up for you. I go into this in more detail in The Place We Find Ourselves podcast episode 147 titled, "Why Listening To Your Body Leads To Healing Part 1."
