Obesity Action, an advocacy group I am a member of, posted struggles faced by those living with obesity in Australia. They are concerned about visiting healthcare providers for fear they will be embarrassed about their weight. And there are instances of "over-exercise" leading to injuries that stop weight loss efforts. Exercise and movement, must be done in moderation and they are to be enjoyed, so that you can do them long term.

A new advocacy group for people with obesity believes the "walk more, eat less" message is too simple.
