You're just about treading water in your job, but your head is a mess, and you're exhausted.
You just have to survive until the weekend, and then you can take a break.
But the weekend comes, and the office is still with you. You are with your family in body, but your mind is elsewhere. You don't rest properly, and you become more tired and emotionally exhausted.
Monday comes again, and the cycle
They feel too busy to seek help or are juggling to the degree there isn't space to stop and assess how to break the cycle. There's a little voice shouting at them for not doing and being more.
So how do you fix it?
1. Acknowledge there's a problem. It's not ok to live with uncontrollable levels of stress.
2. Take the support available, whether that's a chat with a manager, friend, or coach. Someone who can help you unlock the answers in yourself.
3. Create space to pause, breathe and plan even on your busiest days. 5 to 10 mins of planning will help you spot opportunities to remove work, delegate or ask for support.
4. Review progress, make more changes & celebrate success. Accept that there will be some bumps along the way and the progress is not always linear, but with time, consistently and support you will get
