Don't forget to register for our Stay Safe! class for our younger learners.

October 18th East End Community Club from 9:00am to 3:00pm

This class is designed for kids age 9-13 where we will practice first aid skills (wound care, burns, stings, slivers, bumps/bruises) home, community and online safety and inclement weather.

This class is complete with a take home workbook to be reviewed by parents, activities and hands-on learning.

All successful participants will also receive a wall and wallet Canadian Red Cross certificate just like their parents.

Don't forget to register for our Canadian Red Cross Babysitter course coming up at East End Community Club on Saturday October 4th from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

Class is for youth age 12 (or very close) to 15 who are insterested in learning how to care for infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers and school age kids. There will be a lot of hands-on learning (diapering, baby holds, dressing) as well as an afternoon of .

Participants will practice what to say if they have to call 9-1-1, wound care practice, glove removal, what to do if someone is choking and compression only CPR.
