If you don't have all the ingredients for the Almond and Apricot Energy bars here are some suggested substitutions:
As with the flapjacks you can replace the almonds and seeds with any other nuts/seeds you either have in your larder or that you prefer.
Peanut butter or another nut butter can be used instead of almond butter.
Butter instead of coconut oil.
Other dried fruit such as raisins or sultanas instead of apricots.
Honey or small amount of sugar or xylitol instead of the maple syrup.

I had a great question about substitutions for ingredients in the two recipes I mentioned in the first Zest4Health video this week.
I'm reposting each recipe for ease of access.
For the Gingernut Flapjacks - use any nuts or other dried fruit you have in your cupboard. Instead of fresh ginger use more ginger powder, or chopped ginger in a jar (I used a ready-chopped ginger and rinsed it before adding to the mixture to wash away the vinegar)
Whilst coconut oil has many health benefits you could replace it with butter. Honey or even a small amount of sugar could be substituted for the maple syrup.
