Big Tree Medical Home Kentucky We are a virtual primary care practice. Your phone is the “location” where care happens.

It’s absurd that even if you have a primary care provider, you cannot get in to see them. At Big Tree, we leverage the power of technology to allow our members a level of convenience that makes waiting rooms seem so 2019. In-person care is very “doctor-centered.” The patient travels, waits, gets moved to an exam room and waits again. All so the provider can see as many patients per unit of time as possible. The effective “cost” of care to the patient includes the cost of a day off of work to travel and wait, which disadvantages those with lower incomes and from more rural areas. True patient-centered care considers the advantages and disadvantages of virtual care and puts a premium on patient convenience.
