Love or hate it, it's the most important part of your yoga practice and the usually the hardest part to commit to 🧘‍♀️

Most people think meditation is sitting as still as possible with your eyes closed and trying to think of nothing ... 😑 Yet that's completely different from how we do things in the Kundalini Yoga lineage! Sure, sitting quietly in stillness can be part of it, but in Kundalini meditations there are many different styles of meditation using different techniques to still the mind and focus your awareness.

Some people love to chant mantras 🗣️ (no, it's not the same as singing...!), others prefer to use breathing techniques 🫁 (there's so much more than just taking deep breaths...). What's important is finding a type of meditation that works for you, where you can let the outside world fall away to find peace and stillness within 🙏

My practice might not always look like this ⬆️ but the only thing that really matters is keeping it consistent 👍

The modern day world is full of stress and most people are trying to operate at a million miles per hour 🤯 Doing a daily morning sadhana brings me back to balance by tuning up the glandular system to get less overwhelmed, stressed, and keep healthy.

I encourage everyone to commit to a morning sadhana, whether its 10 minutes or 2 hours really doesn’t matter - as long as you commit to it daily you will see the transformation happen in your life ⚡️

The Full Moon in Pisces tonight is in dreamy, creative and deeply feeling Pisces ♓️🌕

This Full Moon offers the opportunity for emotional release, especially around areas where we’ve felt pressure to perform or meet overly perfectionist standards. You could truly feel as though you're at the end of a significant chapter in your life and on the edge of a new one. You might find yourself especially sensitive, compassionate, and finding it easier to pick up on other people's vibes 😳

This Full Moon in Pisces is also linked to Uranus. Saturn square Uranus is the most significant astrological influence for the rest of this year, potentially bringing up feelings of tension and frustration while also prompting exciting positive change 🙌

The influence of the this full moon lasts for two weeks up to the September 25 New Moon 🌚 Substantial and lasting changes can be introduced into your life in this two-week window of opportunity. It is ideal for breaking away from negative and limiting energy and creating refreshing change or new habits in your life.

As we also move into a new season this lunation prompts us to prep, plan, and set intentions ahead of the changing season. It’s the perfect time to establish new healthy habits and let go of anything that is no longer serving you in a positive way. You might like to identify some if these habits and plan new routines to implement positive change into your life. For example do you often find yourself checking emails or scrolling on instagram as soon as you wake up? Instead try sitting up in bed and popping on a short meditation to start the day. You will thank yourself later! 👌

Whatever it is you decide to change in your life, stay gentle and and compassionate towards yourself 🥰

I cannot imagine my life without my daily sadhana. Everyday I wake up and look forward to my morning practice and the way it makes me feel. I have always been a disciplined person so getting into the routine of Sadhana (daily practice) was something that came easy to me. The more I did the more I wanted to learn.

This practice has allowed me to go deeper and deeper within to tune up my energy and listen to my own intuition. Whenever I feel lost or overwhelmed the first place I turn is back to my yoga mat and my practice for inner guidance.

By following along for 11 days you stay motivated and connected to the practice as you go through a journey to work on cultivating a particular energy in your life. Our OG community members will recognise this challenge from our popular 40 day YouTube series we released in 2020. We have taken the best bits from the 40 day challenge and created an 11 day challenge to get your mental wellbeing back on track 👍

Over the 11 days you will improve your mental wellbeing through a journey of classes to clear negativity and bring you into a positive mindset.

You will begin the challenge with classes to move past any negativity that is stored in the mind and body, as well as clear any blocks that are weighing you down and holding you back in life. Yoga can be practiced at home whether your yoga space looks like this ⬆️ or a cushion in the corner of your bedroom 👍

Kundalini Yoga kriyas (classes) are generally mostly seated which means not much space for moving around is required, especially in the more meditative classes.

As long as you have a device and somewhere comfortable to sit you’re good to go! 📱

A mantra you need in your life… 🙌

This is one of the most powerful mantras used commonly in Kundalini Yoga 🎶

The sa ta na ma sounds seem simple, but the vibrations are very powerful. Chanting this mantra internally or out loud allows you to let go of the old you to become who you were meant to be, your true self. It increases intuition and balances the hemispheres of the brain. It also calms the mind and increases serotonin so it's the perfect mantra for anyone with stress, anxiety or nerves.

TA: Life
NA: Death
MA: Rebirth
