LET THE SUNSHINE IN! (trust me, your body will thank you!)
Ah that summer sun. Is there anything better than feeling the warm sun on your skin (with SPF of course :)
I love the feeling of warmth on my skin but did you know that sunshine actually boosts morale?
We know that eating healthy, fitness, and sleep are all key components to increasing our immune system. Add sunshine to the list!
Being in the sun for only 10-20 minutes a day can give you the amount of vitamin D you need!
Our bodies do not produce vitamin D so it is important that we provide this important nutrient.
Sure you can take a supplement or eat oods such as fatty fish, eggs, fortified dairy and mushrooms but the easiest way- the SUN!
We will be getting plenty of vitamin D in a few weeks when we head to the beach for vacation!
