I was born in Jamaica, where I grew up around the use of natural remedies for ailments. Some of my best memories are those of going to the country and picking medicinal bushes for health. My parents moved my seven siblings and me to the United States when I was 13 years old. I spent my High School years in New Jersey before enrolling and graduating from the United States Naval Academy. Upon gradua

tion, I served in the United States Navy for 20 years. If one thing I would like you to know about me is that I value wellness. I was first introduced to the mind’s power and perspective when I was diagnosed with cancer in 2003. I wanted to have a second child before I had to undergo surgery to prevent me from having any future children. I discovered that mediation helped grounded, comfort, and provide hope to negative thought patterns. You see, we have emotions that cling to our bodies and creates a body of their own. Quite often, these emotional bodies (fear, illness, depression, anger, etc.) take over, and the body becomes the controller of our health. When I had cancer, I learned how my fear body wanted me to withdraw, detach from social support, cry, and stop searching for positive changes. Research shows that positive thinking is critical to the body’s immune system. Wellness starts with how you look at things, and when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will change. It is my passion to help empower others to discover their self-healing energies. Her heart to give back to her community allows her to work with a diverse group of people. Her coaching experience range from transformational and spiritual life coaching.

This joy is not for you to take away; it's for me to express as God and Mother Earth allow me to feel their love expressed through me.

No matter the environment, love is still the answer, starting with self-love.

A friendly reminder and warning for everyone - especially anyone with kids and pets. August through early October depending on where you live is the time of year when copperheads are born. Baby snakes are born with venom and are ready to defend themselves. The mama snake generally gives birth to about 8 - 10 of these critters, so if you find one, there are likely others around. The babies will keep those greenish yellow tips on their tails for about a year. These snakes are not generally aggressive but will bite if you're unfortunate enough to touch or step on one. Do not reach under bushes, around rocks, or even flower pots without looking first. They like damp places, so beware, even under children's toys and dog dishes!

How we choose to use our time on this Earth is exactly that, a choice.

It’s powerful to see humanity waking up, stepping into accountability, and choosing to do the right thing: Establishing health, coexisting with respect, and co-creating relationships rooted in purpose and care.

What we do to uplift and improve the human experience is always a choice.

I wanted to share an emotional awareness, responsibility on how words impact others.

Sometimes we say things we regret, words that cut so deeply they change how someone sees us, or even how they see themselves.

If we can pause, identify what's happening inside, and make small corrections in the moment, we might avoid getting to the point of emotionally unloading on someone else.

The phrase “we’re all human” isn’t a free pass to hurt others and ask for forgiveness after the fact. Instead, mindful, intentional acts of humanity, small and sincere, can shift the way we approach each relationship.
