Our journey through Childhood Cancer🎗

One of the biggest milestones of our life ! Our baby girl had her port-removal surgery yesterday, no complications and we were home the same day!

3 long years of having it in!! Grateful for this little device as it was inserted in her chest and didn’t really get in the way but this little diva was not feeling happy with the hard bump in her chest and its association to needles!

She is over the moon having it out and of course it means so much more in terms of how well she is doing!

Just so grateful beyond words on how far we have come ! I hope for more beautiful, medical-free days ahead 💖

SIX MONTHS of health for this incredible, sparkly little girl ! Since Navi ended treatment in June 2023 I cannot begin to explain the beautiful, positive changes we have experienced - incredible diet, rosy skin, beautiful strength, confidence and just pure happiness!

How grateful we are to end 2023 with this sweet happy face!

Well done our warrior, it’s unreal thinking about what you had to cope with and my heart is FULL seeing you like this today ! We just LOVE YOU baby!

TWELVE WEEKS of health!

Back in clinic today for a transfusion & Navi has been calm, happy and more than willing for her port needle access!

Her bloods are great and I can’t believe we have had 3 incredible months of her being happy and healthy!

So much hope for this upward journey ♥️

This little champ has completed her THIRD immunity transfusion already. Four hours sitting (almost) patiently! Thank goodness for snacks and iPads 😂

As far as we know, Navi is still unable to produce her own “immunity-cells” and needs assistance with these lengthy transfusions! Hopefully a re-test in a few months will have given her body enough healing time to get back to some kind of normal.

Appreciate all the messages and love for Navi after her bell ringing ! Although that “officially” marked the end of her treatment, we really have been celebrating every single healthy & happy moment on a daily basis. That bell was just a cherry on the cake 🥰

Love to you crazy girl! We LOVE your smile more than anything !

Nav was in clinic for her second immunity boosting transfusion a few days back.

Her ability to produce “immuno-globulins” is almost non-existent because of the amount of chemo she has had. These monthly immunity transfusions help her have a fighting chance against viral infections and bugs! They take around 4 hours to administer but she is so incredibly patient with it.

She was also so much calmer with her port access this time, such a big win as it can be emotionally draining trying to calm her.

Overall she has had the BEST few weeks since being off treatment, so many positive physical changes in her. We feel grateful and so blessed despite the circumstances.

END OF TREATMENT 🥳🥳🥳

Today confirmed that Navi will take her last oral chemo tomorrow ❤️

We are so exhausted after a week of helping her through a hideous hand, foot and mouth infection that the confirmation of end of treatment has not really sunk in!

There are no guarantees, we will always be anxious but the thought of removing chemo meds and steroids from her life can only make us feel a giant sense of relief 🎉 Please pray with us that it will never, ever enter her life again!!!!

Her regular journey of hospital visits will still continue, and she will receive monthly immunity transfusions to hopefully help her recovery.

So much time has been taken from her little life but we made it ! Please may this truly be the beginning of a beautiful journey for a beautiful little girl!
