Know your hormones, know thyself!
Awareness of how thoughts get dictated by hormones can save many a heartache.
'I THINK THEREFORE I AM', is a good mantra.
One of such hormones is; Oxytocin - It also acts as a chemical messenger in your brain and has an important role in many human behaviors and social interactions, including:

Sexual arousal.

Recognition.

Trust.

Romantic attachment.

Parent-infant bonding.

True love to one's child is consistent support and understanding. Not things laid out according to the demands of the parent who operates from the place of an unhealed child themselves, for life.
Unhealed parents suffocate growth and peaceful development.
Nothing you do will make them happy. Choose yourself to grow and heal.

Sometimes life doesn’t give you closure—
it gives you courage instead.

This wolf didn’t wait for the forest to part,
for the path to be clear,
for the pain to make sense.
He just walked forward—
with questions still unanswered,
and wounds still healing.

Because strength isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it looks like
waking up and choosing to keep going,
even when the weight of yesterday
still sits heavy on your back.

So when the past knocks,
don’t open the door—
open your chest,
breathe deep,
and remind yourself:

You are not what broke you.
You are what survived it.

Knowing the abilities and limitations of people is essential to save yourself from disappointments and heart ache. To achieve this exploring and knowing oneself is the key.
With the baggage of traumas that we have from childhood it becomes impossible to achieve this self awareness. This is where a therapist is integral for facilitation in the process of evolving and becoming free of one's own limitations and awareness of your true self and strengths.

Zeno of Cithium, a famous Greek philosopher spoke about the benefits of taking a bad step in walking rather than to say the wrong thing in talking. We can do a lot of damage when we say something by mistake.
👉Note from Alia: In my life journey learning from philosophers of the past really groomed my instincts to deal with life. I feel philosophy if studied thoroughly can definitely help heal your inner wounds and the recognition of the nature of the person who gave you that wound. Philosophy will surely set you free of your inner painful demons, planted in you through no fault of yours. It will help you heal your, "Inner Child," and let it work in harmony with your, "Inner Adult," and that's the goal a therapist wants to achieve with you and for you, for ensuring eternal calmness, joys and success in life.
A Tip: A good therapist is a good philosopher too. Seek this kind of a therapist who has a deep understanding of life and its challenges and your emotions.

Getting to truly know yourself is the curve of growth. In small steps let's face the inner world, free it of its own diminishing damages and gain the hidden inner strength that lies behind them.
It is important to not do this alone. Humans are not geared for isolated growth.

Choose wisely from among those who take healing as the most important part of their life journey.
