This year's IowAbility Fair will be BIGGER & BETTER! You won't want to miss it, so save the date, October 18, on your calendar ASAP! The event will run from late morning to mid afternoon (specific times of the event and its activities will be coming soon) and be held at the beautiful Easterseals Iowa campus in Des Moines.

IowAbility Fair offers a unique experience for individuals and families affected by spinal cord injury, spina bifida, mobility impairments, and all wheelchair users. Participants can enjoy indoor and outdoor adaptive sports and recreation activities, explore product and service vendors, network and build relationships, and join the Walk-N-Roll fundraiser. The objective of this FREE event is to bring individuals with limited mobility together to learn, connect, try new things, and have fun!

IowAbility Fair offers a unique experience for individuals and families affected by spinal cord injury, spina bifida, other mobility impairments, and all wheelchair users. Participants can enjoy adaptive sports and recreation activities, explore product and service vendors, network and build relationships with their peers, and join the Walk-N-Roll fundraiser. The objective of this FREE event is to bring individuals with limited mobility together to learn, connect, try new things, and have fun!

In addition to the fully-accessible activities, like handcycling, kayaking, picklelball, and more, IowAbility Fair also offers some special opportunities. Participants can take part in the FREE Equipment/Supply Swap, try their luck with the 50/50 Raffle (tickets available online now at https://charity.pledgeit.org/50-50Raffle), and spend time in Shopper's Alley supporting business owners with disabilities (SELLERS MAY REQUIRE CASH). There's always a lot to see and do. Don't miss it!

From retirees to high school students, all are needed to put on this special event. It CANNOT happen without your help.

There are multiple shifts to choose from. You can volunteer to set up on Saturday, October 5 and/or Sunday, October 6, the day of IowAbility Fair, with shifts before, during, and after. Whether you volunteer for one shift or multiple, your service will be greatly appreciated.

Volunteering at IowAbility Fair is a great opportunity to make a difference and have fun doing it. Plus students can get volunteer/class credit!
