My story: In June 2018 I woke up so sick I had a panic attack. We were on vacation, hours from home, celebrating our 1 year anniversary. Like everyone, I started with my western MD. I was in 24/7 unrelenting pain and had to fight every Dr I saw for help. In the meantime I was put through courses of antibiotics so strong they made me want to die. Literally. That’s a side effect and I have had to fight the damage from them long after my pain stopped. My official diagnosis after having a cystoscopy is Interstitial Cystitis. According to Western Medicine it is incurable, chronic and weekly catheterization, Elmiron (a medication that makes you lose your hair), low dose opioids and antidepressants were the prescription. Having previously worked in a holistic clinic for 7 years, I felt this was a better option and I was fortunate enough to find a natural healing IC support group on Facebook. I’m happy to say I have healed my body of IC and made it through depression NATURALLY, and I want to share how. I’m not a practitioner, I cannot diagnose you or walk you through any protocols (yet), but I will share everything I’ve learned so that you can have a place to start, find a practitioner, change your eating, tests you can have done on your own when insurance refuses, and give you hope for a better outcome.
