Black Canadian Healthcare Professionals is back with another community outreach clinic!
We are offering support for your healthcare needs with a clinic to address your questions and concerns.
We will be providing resources on topics such as race based screening, mental health, chronic disease, diversity in health care, navigating the medical system and more.
Additionally, we will be having special guests, Dr Merkeley from St Paul's Hospital (Red Cell Disorders of BC program), speaking on Sickle Cell Trait and Thalassemia Trait and Dr. Farley who is an Infectious Disease specialist.
There will be opportunities for discussion with healthcare professionals as well as referrals to healthcare services or providers.
Please feel free to spread the word and invite friends, family or anyone you know in the black community that may require support with their healthcare needs.
Light refreshments provided by the Jamaican Canadian Cultural Association of British Columbia (JCCABC).
