Our third and final judge is none other than Jan Buragay!
Another of my favorite designers, he has a design style that is very distinctive and unique. Somewhat reminiscent of a blend of Yokoyama and Kobayashi, he has made some of the most awesome designs I have ever seen.
To state I am a fan is an underestimation XD

You can check his Instagram or Cara accounts for his awesome designs. And if you want even more depth and content, check out his patreon where you can find digitized sketchbooks, digital paint walkthroughs and more!

We are very happy to have him aboard!

Check out the short interview to get to know him a bit better (and sample some of his work).

For our second judge we have secured one of my personal favorite mecha designers: Maung Thuta!
Not a scale modeller p***e, he is a veteran concept artist and has produced an enormous amount of different mecha designs (that you can check out on his socials and his Artstation).

His facebook profile not only displays an awesome array of mecha designs, but also a large amount of helpfull basic element sketches for mecha design.
His artstation is pure inspiration gold.
If you didn't know him yet, follow him now! (and shame on you!)

Check out the short interview to get to know him a bit better (and sample some of his work).

And our final winner highlight is for our grand prize winner, the first place of the first Peculiar Robot Contest, the R.E.4.P.3.R Mech by Henrik Thomson - Krumme.
This robot is expertly built and painted. It's like the lanky older brother of ED209, with added robocop reference too! It’s wonky and weird, while staying in a very realistic style of painting and building. The added diorama is a great touch (although we did not really score on this, we loved it nonetheless).

Today’s highlight goes to the winner of the second place in our first Peculiar Robot Contest:
Mathis Vogt with their… bot 😛
It’s one of the weirdest in the contest, lacking any resemblance to a living creature and having asymmetrical and undefined features. This is one of those designs this contest is about. It awesome and the added decorations like the banners and little flags really make it come alive.
