I’ve posted organizations to donate to in my stories over the last two months, but have been getting DMs asking where to donate. So, here are 8 orgs to donate to to help the women and children of Palestine. Even if you can’t/won’t donate, please share this post. Sharing is caring. If you have an organization you love, please share it in the comments or DM me and I will make sure to share it.

As a mother, midwife, nurse, and human, I refuse to succumb to apathy. I will not act as if my heart and soul are not heavy with equal amounts of sorrow and rage. But I don’t let the heaviness keep me idle from action.

I don’t need to wait a few years for my children to ask me “what did I do?” Because they’ve not only seen “what I do”, and have done, but they have been doing it with me, since they were in my womb.

I could have probably made 1,000 more of these 👻. If any of these didn’t seem scary to you, I promise you, there is better care out there and you deserve better.

Today is World Menopause Day. The biggest piece of advice I have for those going into perimenopause and menopause is to find a provider who’s had training specific to perimenopause & menopause. I have lots of other advice too, but that’s my number one!Keep following for the rest of my advice in future posts!

I would rather be giving birth to an audience than make a post like this talking about myself 😅, but here we. There are a lot more of you here since the last time I introduced myself over a year ago. If I was in person saying these things out loud to all of you, welp, I would be on the floor passed out from a panic attack (yes, I am mental health provider with major anxiety related to public speaking).

Trying to summarize what I do/who I am into 10 slides was a challenge, but I think I did it. It’s good enough!

This month is National Su***de Su***de Prevention Awareness month and this week is Maternal Su***de Awareness Week.

Maternal su***de is the leading cause of death in the first year following childbirth.

Maternal Su***de is 100% PREVENTABLE.

We need to do better. The priorities of this country are beyond f-d. If those attempting to strip reproductive right away from women spent even an ounce of that time, energy, and money to focus on improving maternal mental health outcomes, we would be in a much better situation.

Check on your postpartum friends. It could save their life.

Sharing this post and others like it also helps. Resources for help are below and on the last slide. The more people know how to access help, the better.

Help is Available!
