The anchor to my campaign for the blue crown are stories — stories of people that inspire me, stories of kids that motivate me, and stories that make me who I am.

All I wanted was a room to tell my story but they gave me a reign to talk about my passion. And I will be eternally grateful.

With my final question, family does not necessarily mean your biological family, it could also be your chosen family — the friends and people who feel like home. I’m privileged to have both and I would not be where I am now if not for them.

To my family — my parents, siblings, cousins-turned-into-siblings, aunts, uncles, from Bicol and the US, thank you for travelling far and wide to show me love. My friends who go out of their way to support me. Thank you. I love all of you.

The parents and families of the kids I work with, thank you for letting me pursue this dream. I’ll see all of you soon!
