HYPOGLYCORRHACHIA

Low Cerebral spinal fluid glucose (hypoglycorrhachia) can be a sign of CNS infections, particularly bacterial meningitis,this is because the bacteria feeds on the glucose.

With viral Meningitis the CSF glucose levels are usually within normal range.
The normal CSF glucose range for adults is 2.77-4.44mmol/L

International Normalized Ratio(INR)is used to monitor whether warfarin is giving the desired effect,if not dose adjustments should be made
Normal INR if not on warfarin is 0.8 to 1.2
Normal INR on Warfarin is 2-3
Normal INR on high dose warfarin is 2.5-3.5
INR less than 2 indicates risk for clotting
INR more than 3 indicates risk for bleeding
What we desire is a therapeutic range.

The antidote of warfarin is Vitamin k.
A person on warfarin maintains the amount of vitamin k foods intake.do not increase nor reduce.moderate intake of vit K rich foods should be fine.

WARFARIN is an anticoagulant, it inhibits the synthesis of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors, reducing clotting ability.it is used to prevent and treat venous thrombosis and thromboembolic events, as well as conditions such as myocardial infarction and atrial fibrillation.
Warfarin does not dissolve already formed clots but it will prevent them from getting bigger.
