Donör alanda düz çizgi şeklinde bir skar istemeyen, bir seansta fazla greft ekilmesini arzulayan, donör alan saçlarını kısa kullanmak isteyen hastalar için fue yöntemi önerilebilir. Daha önce fut ya da fue yaptırmış adaylar için de yine fue tekniği önerilir. Saçın çizgi bölgesinde ya da taç bölgesinde küçük açılmaları olan, ilerde dökülme riski, dolayısı ile ikinci ve ya üçüncü bir operasyon ihtiyacı olabilecek olan hastalar için fue çok uygun bir yöntemdir.
