So who am I?

Hello there - I’m Colleen Lauver...

Almost a year after my daughter was born, I felt like everything I read about life as a “new mom” guilted me into feeling like I was suppose to “sacrifice” everything for someone else. As if the wellbeing of ourselves took a backseat to everything else...

If you were sad, angry, irritable, frustrated, or just felt lonely…

…those feelings were all NORMAL!

Except, I knew I didn’t feel normal!

I quickly learned that it’s OURSELVES that should be our primary focus! - Shortly after, I started healing myself first through nutrition, functional movement, and all natural supplementation specifically centered around the gut-brain-axis.

As a busy mom of 1 (for now anyway), I know how important you value your time. Between the temper tantrums, loads of laundry, cleaning, working, cooking, (the list goes on) it seems almost impossible these days to take time away from the ones we love to care for ourselves.

Each week, I’ll be inspiring and sharing with you what I’ve learned over the 6 years I’ve dedicated to bettering my health and of those around me! Recipes, fitness tips, wellness tips, etc. are all fair game here!

Oh and just in case you’re wondering, I’m not a specialist in any health or nutritional field, a medical professional (nor do I claim to be), or a fitness expert, but I can tell you that I’m highly motivated to living my best life and helping other like you do that same!
