Members of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway and Trinitas Regional Medical Center campuses helped celebrate 18 years of fitness and wellness at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center Fitness Festival in Scotch Plains on Saturday, October 4th. The Rahway and Trinitas volunteers provided information on physical therapy, mental health, cardiac care, healthy eating as well as blood pressure and blood glucose checks. Existing fitness center members as well as members of the public participated in free group fitness classes, Pilates demos, kids swimming lessons and crafts, and shopped with local vendors.

Anyone wishing to explore memberships can call the Fitness Center at 908-232-6100 for more information.

Thank you to all those who came out and volunteered for this fun and inspiring community event.

Brenda went above and beyond to ensure my food orders were received briskly, and moreover; she always makes sure I feel comfortable. This proud New Brunswick native entered his senior year of high school unsure about his career path after graduation. 50 years later (and counting!), Jack talks to Mark E. Manigan, RWJBarnabas Health President and CEO, about his career journey, sharing some of his proudest moments and why he’s dedicated his career to our health system and the communities that we serve.

What an incredible start!
Today, we officially launched RWJBarnabas Health's first system-wide Mentorship Program with a powerful kick-off event bringing together 250+ mentors and mentees from across our health system. The energy in the room was inspiring as colleagues connected, shared experiences and committed to their career development.

We thank everyone who joined us, including Mark E. Manigan, RWJBarnabas Health's President and Chief Executive Officer, and Lynda Markoe, our health system's EVP and Chief People Officer. We’re excited to see the meaningful relationships, career wellbeing and lasting impact that will grow from this exciting initiative!
