Boost Your Protein Intake for Better Health 🌟

Breakfast can be a tricky time to meet your protein goals, but here's an example of how to do it! I've got multi-grain toast spread with a generous layer of ricotta, topped with 3 eggs, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. On the side, strawberries, pecans and walnuts. All paired with a warm cup of hot chocolate made from cacao, soy milk, and mostly water for extra hydration. 🍫

Hitting 25-30g of protein in your main meals can:

⚖️ Balance blood sugar levels – This helps maintain steady energy, avoid insulin resistance, and supports overall hormone balance.

💪 Promote muscle maintenance – Keeping muscle mass preserves a healthy metabolism, strengthens bones, and prevents muscle loss.

💁 Support hormone production – Key hormones like insulin and estrogen, essential for regulating metabolism and reproductive health, rely on sufficient protein intake.

Protein is crucial for more than just building muscle—it's vital for managing weight, fertility, fat storage, menstrual health, and maintaining a balanced hormonal system.
