Hi dear friends! Thank you for being here and for allowing me into your lives and your homes. Thank you for supporting Joy In A Bottle. A lengthy message follows. Please bear with me. I created this Joy in the Journey page to share with you my journey with Joy in a Bottle, as well as to keep you abreast on what we have to offer and how we can help you - or one another. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to share.
2020 has not just been an unforgettable year, but it has also been tragic for many and one that has peeled off our many layers of protection from vulnerability. It has opened up our insecurities, specially about our future.
To you my dear friends who have lost loved ones this year, please accept my deepest condolences and prayers. To those who may have lost jobs and your source of livelihood, I pray that God will reveal His plan and open new doors for you. If there is anything that I can help you with, as long as I am able, please know that I am a message away. Drop me a line anytime, allow me to pray for and with you, at the very least. It is the best gift we can give one another - prayer.
2020 blessed me to be one of the founding members of SalamatPhHealthcareHeroes, a DWPH registered volunteer group founded within days of our first lockdown in March. The group is composed of 7 like minded women whose common interest before the pandemic was to support our alma mater's varsity teams. SalamatPh's primary goal was to respond to the needs of our frontliners - meals, PPEs, masks, ear savers, bikes - anything that we thought would make life easier for our healthcare heroes. As disasters and calamities hit us left and right, we have not limited ourselves to frontliners. Recently, we also provided assistance to flood victims in Markina and Cagayan. We show up where we are needed.
Through SalamatPh, I was introduced to Joy in a Bottle or JIAB, a locally produced line of 100% high grade essential oils. I have been an oiler since the mid 90's, so safe to say, I know my oils pretty well. When I was given the OG to try, I became hooked. The lavender series sealed the deal. There was no turning back to the imported brands that I have been using. And when the opportunity to partner with JIAB came up, I could not say no - despite being in the midst of a pandemic, where prudence with finances is necessary. OR perhaps because of the pandemic God opened this door for me to be able to share the natural healing powers of our oils with as many as possible.
And so here I am. Here we are.
The road ahead of us may seem unclear and uncertain. But the one thing I am sure of is that there are no accidents. You and I being in this group is not an accident. Everything is God ordained and as such, my hope and prayer is to be able to help as many with what God has created - essential oils.
My love to you all and prayers for a deeper understanding and presence of God in our lives. When God is present in our hearts, healing begins and hope is present.
