Family and friends, there is no easy way to say this, but I am in need of a kidney transplant NOW!!

My dream: waiting for 7 more months and 14 days before Miami Transplant Institute (MTI) will "release me"!!!

Plans? To become "homeless" for 6 months, 1 year, who knows? AND TO RECONNECT WITH EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU as I live my "new life". I would love to visit with u for a night (or several nights as I am still capable of sleeping on a couch or even a floor! Lol) as we share our life stories, catch up, and make lasting current memories that we shall reminisce together in years to come.

First off, next summer will be traveling the USA (and hope to see my then, 99 year old father, in Boulder) as I get my feet wet and reunite with those whom I saw back in 2019 and 2020. Plus those whom I would like to meet and/or (re)connect. Then onto Europe and beyond.

As most of you know my main and pretty much ONLY DREAM at this point in my life is to connect/bond/ share/reunite/meet-up with PEOPLE. Since, for me, the only thing left in my aged life is to share TIME with others.

Hope to see all of you at the end of 2024 or 2025/2026!!!!

So I'm settled in my hospital bed for the pre-opt testing which they're going to do all tonight. And hopefully they're getting the cadaver prepared for surgery tomorrow at noon. So by 12:00 noon tomorrow Wednesday January 25th I will either be in surgery getting my new kidney or I will be heading home without a kidney and waiting for another viable kidney. If anyone is interested and wants to follow me the phone number here at the hospital as far as I have information now is 305-355-1211 extension 551211 and the intake hospitality and concierge intake person was Elizabeth . this number is the hospitality and concierge services and they can tell you my whereabouts or so they say. I am so grateful and thankful to be alive! And so appreciative that I have enough energy to be able to go and watch the annual Fort Lauderdale Boat Parade, that's near my home. I sat on the grass at the edge of the river and watch the beautiful boats go by. And I smiled, and I smiled again, and said this is such a beautiful evening and I am so so happy that I am here to be able to experience it. So I wanted to have you all share a glimpse of what a wonderful evening I had last night in hopes that you too can enjoy some of the pictures and videos that I've posted. It allows me to feel like you're all with me, feeling happy, feeling alive, feeling appreciative of life. Happy holidays everyone!

Happy holidays everyone! And hope everyone is sharing this holiday season with family and friends. This is the time of year we make hopeful wishes and new resolutions for the following year, now, 2023. My resolution and my wish this year is the same as last year: that I receive a live donor kidney transplant from an altruistic person somewhere out there in this world.

It's been nearly two years now that I've been searching and needing a new kidney in order to stay alive. I've gratefully reached out to all of you in requesting if you know of anyone who could possibly provide me a kidney. Many of you have made a effort to spread the word. And I deeply appreciate that. As always your prayers are helpful, but in order for me to stay alive, I need an actual kidney.

Many of you know and have seen my struggle throughout the years, my physical struggle, and my emotional strength in persevering life. It all started at age 11 when I came down with Crohn's disease. And as you know I've been in and out of the hospital all my life, thank goodness for modern medicine. Life has been a struggle all along, but I've appreciated as much as I can and I still appreciate each day. I wake up and I look out my window and it's beautiful blue sky and I feel okay. Usually there's some pain somewhere, but I tolerate it. But I know I have one more day to live, enjoy, experience and most of all be happy and satisfied, and at peace. I know I'm getting closer to my death, actually we all are, and each day I accept that reality more and more. By no means am I ready to go at this moment or at this time, there's so much more life to live and enjoy and experience. But as the days go on and I do not receive a kidney, I realize my end is coming, soon.

So once again I reach out to you, thank you all for listening, for making an effort, for your support. And once again I ask all of you please, please, please reach out to whomever you know and in every conversation please tell them that you have a friend who is in desperate need of a kidney. Thank you.

Once again, I am reaching out to everything.Begging you for MY LIFE: please,as all of you probably know we humans can live,healthily, with only one kidney for the rest of our lives. We are blessed with 2 kidneys, one to spare.

As many of u also know: I've been desperately waiting one 1.5+ years now for a kidney. Either from a cadaver on the transplant list, or a live Kidney donor. Of course, a live Kidney donor will be much better because it will provide me with a longer life, a healthy recovery, and less complications along the way in in my life.

Thankfully with modern medicine, you can have any blood type. The restrictions are you can't have high blood pressur, you can't be a previous cancer survivor, you can't be obese, you can't have diabetes, and also no other major illnesses, especially any immune deficiency disorders. With modern medicine what can happen is if your kidney is not compatible to my body, your kidney can go into an exchange program. A pool of kidneys where I am eligible to receive a compatible kidney, and your kidney will then go to some other person who is in need of a kidney.

So please, please, consider the possibility of donating one of your Healthy kidneys to me or please please at least spread the word to as many people as you know, in hopes that one of those people will provide an altruistic miracle for me to allow me to live at least another 10 years if not more. Again thank you and I appreciate you spreading the word. And I know many of you have and I really appreciate it. But we really need to get the word out!

As you know, this is my life! We are trying to save my life! Without a kidney, 100%, I will not make it. So please please consider helping save my life. Thank you

Unfortunately, my bloodwork for the month resulted in the lowest hemoglobin level, ever. I am Extremely anemic. Thus, on Monday I return to hospital for another iron Infusion and expensive Procrit injection.

Put as in most times, I am feeling positive! l am so thankful and grateful for modern medicine, which is keeping me alive.

Each day, I wait, in hope and anticipation, that maybe, just maybe, someone will help save my life and donate 1 of their 2 kidneys to me. Most healthy people can donate 1 of their kidneys and still survive a long time on just the other kidney.

And with modern medicine, our blood types don't even have to match. There is an exchange program: if I can find someone to donate their kidney, it goes into an exchange pool, where I can get a compatible kidney for me!!

PLEASE PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING OR TALKING WITH OTHERS WHO MAY BE HEALTHY AND ELIGIBLE.

Once again, I was in hospital this week for another iron Infusion and expensive procrit injections. Seems like my kidneys are really waning as they no longer can contribute to the production of blood. I have become weak and tired once again, due to severe anemia.

I have attached the video from the news Interview that was conducted last year. PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO WITH ANYONE YOU KNOW, ON ALL SOCIAL MEDIA AND ORGANIZATION.
