Back in March 31st, 2025, you came to your first new client intro assignment. You had a chronic back injury. You told us that you have tried other treatments, but you couldn't release the pain. Five months later, you are almost 100% pain-free, and your performance during your Pilates class is exceptional. Congratulations for all the hard work that you have put into your healing journey. Welcome to Harmony Vanessa!

Born and raised in Carlsbad, California started off as a a professional dancer. Brooks has been teaching dance and movement for 18 years. After having double knee surgery at the end of 2005, Brooks found the positive effects of Pilates and began her Pilates education while attending California State University Long Beach. In the summer of 2006, Vanessa received her Pilates certification through Body Arts and Science International, with an emphasis on Dance Specialization, under the direction of Karen Clippinger. In 2008 Brooks, received her Bachelors of the Arts degree in Dance from California State University Long Beach. Brooks is also certified in Piyo by Beachbody, TRX by sculptworks, and teaches her own choreographed Barre classes. She has taught Pilates and fitness at numerous studios and gyms throughout southern California and Honolulu including Frogs Club One, Kore Pilates, Elite Fitness Spas for Women, Pure Fitness, Morgan Run Resort and Spa, Yoga Works, Crunch Fitness, Island Club and Spa, Pilates O Ka La, and Body Balance. Brooks has found the passion for helping people regain physical and emotional self-confidence and well-being through Pilates and fitness.

Welcome to Harmony.🤗

Janice is a physical therapist with 24 years of experience. She was educated in Silliman University, Philippines, where she received a BSPT degree. She uses manual therapy and exercises in her approach to treatments. Pilates and yoga are also incorporated in the exercises. She has worked in different settings of outpatient, skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities in Hawaii and Florida, where she also had her own clinic for 7 years. Janice enjoys seeing her patients recover from injuries and live a life that is free from pain. She emphasizes the importance of continuing the assigned home exercise program beyond the session at the office. She loves to learn and attends continuing education credits yearly to keep up with new trends.

In her spare time, Janice loves to dance Latin (bachata, zouk, kizomba, salsa), scuba dive, wakeboard, surf, hike, and spend time with family. She also loves to travel all over the world in pursuit of her hobbies and to visit family/ friends.
