Pursuing a Passion
Genealogy is about more than names on a tree. Learn about your roots, and the stories of the people you descended from. Whether you are starting from scratch or have hit the wall in your research, I can help.
For 35 years I have been researching family trees for myself and others. I am a member of Ontario Ancestors and the Muskoka Parry Sound Genealogy group. I have helped many people find the missing links in their family trees, and trace their roots back as far as the 1500’s. I’ve found pirates, slave traders and secret royalty along the way, and proved (and disproved) many family legends through careful research.
Genealogy is my passion, and it all began when I was 11 and my parents began researching the Campbell side of my family tree. I was enthralled with the lives of these ancestors, where they came from, what they had to do to get here, how they lived.
When I began researching other people’s family trees I was unsure if I would be as engaged with their information as I was that of my own. Yet those feelings soon dissipated, with each tree that I do I get incredibly wrapped up in all of the stories. I tend to fall down the rabbit hole, as I call it. I love taking people on that journey, introducing them to people that help make up their story.
