# # Safety Notice for benzo users regarding contaminated batch of Indian RLAM-1 Alprazolam

Hi all, please be aware that there has apparently recently been what appears to be a factory error in which RLAM-1 branded Alprazolam (**batch number 210523** - usually printed on all blisters from India) were pressed with **TRAMADOL** rather than Alprazolam (aka Xanax)

These pills are in significant quantities diverted to the UK & EU and other countries and many Benzo users may have heard or used this brand name before (I have); so I implore you to please be cautious. If you have the batch number in question, **throw it away immediately** - if you don't, I would implore you to please test what you have anyway, either via a testing service or via reagent set.

Attached is a photo from Wedinos, a UK-based testing service, showing an example of this contaminated batch.
Stay safe everyone đź’ś

** Thank you mot for the alert **

Hey friends, we recently opened a merch store, we've got hoodies, shirts, stickers, mugs and more! We hope you consider getting some merch. It helps us on several fronts, primarily the money helps cover operating costs for the website, and it boosts visibility for the harm reduction community and in turn gets people learning about ways to reduce harm.

We hope you're having a lovely 2025 so far, stay safe!

With love,

Yesterday was international overdose awareness day. Overdose has taken the lives of far too many people in America, and everywhere. And I believe it to be a systemic failure in the way that our society deals with mental illness, substance use, and healthcare. Criminalizing drug users has been proven time and again to not be effective, when are we going to make a real change? How many more lives have to end?

"International Overdose Awareness Day 2024 theme: "Together we can"
No one should stand alone in our fight to end overdose.

While every individual action matters greatly, coming together as an international community creates a powerful collective action. One that moves us with greater speed toward our shared goal of preventing, and ultimately, ending all overdoses.

Through our 2024 theme, “Together we can” we’re highlighting the strength of coming together and standing in support of those connected to the tragedy of overdose.

For people who use drugs and those who don’t. For heartbroken friends and family members of lost loved ones. For activists who fight for sorely needed policy reform. For healthcare and harm reduction workers. For tireless advocates. Overdose can affect anyone, and we encourage you to remember the tenacity of our community. Lean into the power that we can have when we work together.

This August 31, reach out and connect with others in your local community and join the global IOAD movement. Our collective voices are stronger, louder, and the most impactful when brought together.

Let’s remember, together, we can end overdose."

Admin note: this international campaign to end overdose is happening in the last week of August. Here are some ways to get involved: https://www.overdoseday.com/get-involved/ International Overdose Awareness Day 2024 theme: "Together we can" No one should stand alone in our fight to end...

Read about expanding access to equipment through home delivery, including the NEXT Harm Reduction program.

Everyone should be able to access supplies, including injecting equipment and naloxone.

Increasing access to syringes, fentanyl test strips, naloxone, and other supplies to prevent complications from drug use is important for preventing emergency department visits and overdose fatalities

Frederick County Health Department Harm Reduction Services promotes strategies that reduce the negative consequences associated with drug use and unprotected s*x. Our goal is to meet people where they are without judgment, and offer tools to inform, educate, and empower both people who use drugs (PWUD) and the community. We hopes to promote the reduction of stigma associated with substance-related disorders and to link individuals to important health services when they are ready to access them.
