- identification of hazards that require the activation of a coordinated response
- evaluation of the likelihood (severity, vulnerability, and coping capacity)
- determination of the impact and risk level.......these and more took place at the workshop. It was an exciting one as participants came from various ministries and agencies

Prevention Measures against LASSA FEVER‼️
1. Personal hygiene Hygiene: Store food/grains in rodent-proof containers and maintain a clean household.

2. Food Preparation: Cook food thoroughly and store it away from animals.

3. Avoid Contact with Rodents: Refrain from touching rodents and their excreta, and avoid eating them.

PHEOC Risk communication and communication engagement team visited some schools in Ibadan to sensitize them on Cholera Prevention.This Cholera sensitisation program aims to educate these students on good hygiene
i.e hand washing
Personal hygiene
Food hygiene and environmental cleanliness on cholera prevention. The Team taught them on how Cholera can spread through contaminated food and water. The team also Emphasized the importance of rapidly reporting early symptoms like diarrhoea to their parents.
Promoting these practices among kids can significantly reduce the risk of cholera in our communities and the nation at large.
