Behind Disease Behind Disease - a project addressing public perception and understanding of musculoskeletal diseases

"Behind Disease" is a project created by academics at the University of Liverpool that aims to improve public understanding of musculoskeletal diseases. We have developed a series of patient-orientated leaflets that use engaging illustrations to translate the complex molecular mechanisms behind diseases into understandable metaphors. This work has been developed in partnership with a group of patients to ensure the brochures are relevant and impactful.
