Day 5: I had a kid stay home from school sick, a vet appointment and after-school obligations that prevented a Moe’s trip. Consequently... I caffeinated myself appropriately and didn’t eat anything. Wasn’t actually that difficult. The meals had been seeming smaller than before so maybe I’m settling in nicely to this new routine. Day 8 I will hit the scale and determine the effectiveness of my new Moe’s Diet.

So 2020 crept up on me and greets me at my current weight of 260lbs +/-. Yesterday (New Years Day) I get an email from Moe's about everybody needing a cheat day. I was surprised they were even open on NYD but I was happy for the info and headed over with my kids for a late lunch. As I'm standing there with my cup headed to the soda machine I feel a wave of happiness. Instead of this being considered a cheat day, why couldn't this be every day instead?

All the recent hype of intermittent fasting got me thinking. What if I just did a Moe's meal once a day as my only caloric food intake? I would stay under 2K calories certainly and give myself motivation to survive the fasting portions because I would know what awaited me at the end. So today, 2/2/20 I will begin this alternative diet plan and share my progress and track my weight loss.
