I had to stop working 2 years ago due to debilitating symptoms that left me so sick and in excruciating pain, along with major surgeries (over 27) and multiple hospitalizations…and I was forced to apply for state disability. Even with my husband’s job as a dedicated police officer, it’s still ...

Lord help me…tons of appointments coming up for MRIs, etc, and meeting with the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Team in a few weeks. Apparently, I’ve been speaking way to many signs and red flags for Multiple Sclerosis or another type of Neurological Disorder….woohoo, as of I didn’t already have a library of my medical files already bursting at the seams! 🤦‍♀️🤨😵‍💫😑….yay to more tests and playing the “pin cushion” game (not 🙄)

Surgery went as expected and lasted roughly 6 hours. I’m very swollen/lumpy and bruised, and I’ve developed a few hematomas around the incision site…so unfortunately my pain is VERY hard to get under control right now. The pain management team just came in and are starting me on a different/stronger regimen now, so hopefully it’ll help! I haven’t been able to walk yet, but I managed to stand for a few minutes 👍
