Magnesium is one of the most essential, yet under-appreciated, minerals for postpartum recovery.

It plays a critical role in hormone balance, energy production, nervous system regulation, and mental health, making it vital for both new moms and their babies.

Ensuring adequate magnesium levels can help support a smoother recovery, improve mood, and promote overall well-being in the months following childbirth.

You can get magnesium through foods such as nuts, seeds, avocado, dark chocolate, spinach, and beans. However, I find a lot of people benefit from an added supplement to see the effects.

Talk to your provider about if you should be supplementing with magnesium and what the proper dosage is for you!

Most women—especially postpartum—are told to just “eat something” in the morning. But what you eat first thing can either support your healing…or completely hijack your day.

Starting your day with 30–35g of protein does so much more than curb hunger. It:
🧠 Supports dopamine and neurotransmitter production
🩸 Balances blood sugar and reduces crashes
😌 Regulates your nervous system and stress response
🍽️ Reduces late-night cravings and emotional eating
⚖️ Helps stabilize your hormones (especially cortisol and insulin)

On the flip side, starting your day with sugar—think muffins, cereal, toast with jam—spikes insulin, dysregulates cortisol, and sends your body into fight-or-flight before your day even begins. That’s often the real reason for mood swings, energy dips, and brain fog by 10am.

If you’re healing from postpartum depletion, thyroid dysfunction, or adrenal fatigue, this one change can be a game-changer.

✨ Start your day with protein.
✨ Fuel your brain and hormones.
✨ Let your body know it’s safe.

Who’s behind Postpartum Care USA?

Meet Stacia Scott, Founder of Postpartum Care USA.
I’m a holistic nurse practitioner and a mom—just like the women I serve.

And like many of you, my journey into motherhood was not what I expected.
After giving birth, I was exhausted, anxious, and completely depleted.

I asked for help—but was told my labs were “normal” and that what I was feeling was just part of being a mom.

But I knew in my gut that something was off.
And I realized I wasn’t the only one.

Too many women are told their postpartum symptoms are “normal”…
When really, they’re a sign of deeper imbalances that deserve attention and care.

That’s why I created Postpartum Care USA—to fill the gap I wish had existed for me.

Today, our clinic uses lab-based, holistic protocols to help women understand their symptoms, replenish what’s missing, and feel like themselves again.

We’ve helped thousands of mamas regain their energy, clarity, and peace—and we’d be honored to support you too.

If you’re feeling off after baby—we see you.

✨ Comment “CARE” and we’ll send you our favorite free resources to help you start feeling better today.

Things they don’t want you to know about postpartum in the US...

Over 80% of mothers experience postnatal depletion syndrome, yet it’s rarely talked about! Fatigue, mood swings, and nutrient deficiencies shouldn’t be your “new normal” after birth. 🤱

On top of that, 5–10% of women deal with thyroid issues like postpartum thyroiditis in the year after giving birth, often going undiagnosed and untreated. 💔

And shockingly, 40% to 45% of maternal deaths happen between labor and the first 24 hours to 17 days postpartum. This shows how critical postpartum care is to prevent such tragedies.

💡 It’s time to raise awareness about these real challenges!
