Dr.Ray graduated from the International Medical University (IMU), Bukit Jalil, Malaysia in 2010 and was awarded a Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Bachelor Degree in Surgery (MBBS). He subsequently completed his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) (MMED) in University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2019. He has been in the internal medical field since 2012 and has worked in various Tertiary and district government hospitals ever since. Dr Ray was credentialed and privileged in ultrasound guided biopsies, vascular catheterisation procedures and echocardiogram. In academic and research, Dr Ray has started his work, individually and in collaboration, since his undergraduate years in 2009. The latest highlight of his achievements would be his attendance, presentation and winning of the 3rd place in the annual Malaysian Thoracic Society meeting with subsequent further presentation in the European Respiratory Society (ERS) annual congress in Milan, Italy in 2018. The resulting research was then published (2018) in an Internationally renowned Q1 journal of Respirology for research article on - Annual Southeast Asia haze increases respiratory admissions: A 2-year large single institution experience. Dr Ray is committed to providing excellent care and service to patients, listening to each individual’s concerns, and using a wholistic treatment approach. With his experiences in a variety of healthcare settings, having the patient ages ranging from 12 years old up to geriatric, as well as being a determined team player who is able to collaborate with other medical staff to devise effective treatment solutions, he is also dedicated to professionalism and strives to maintain the highest standards of the field.
