🔥 Single-leg stability, proper knee alignment, and controlled landings are some of the biggest keys to keeping your knees, hips, and ankles healthy especially after an injury

I have the pleasure of being able to work with , and here we’re working on locking in the fundamentals using RNT (reactive neuromuscular training) to improve glute engagement, keep the knee aligned, and build the stability his body needs. Once he gets the feel for it, we take those same cues into more dynamic drills like single-leg and bilateral depth drops, which translate directly into skating, basketball, and even simple daily movements.

💪🏻 One thing I love about being a physical therapist is helping people stay active and get back to what they enjoy. This client has been dealing with rotator cuff pain from years of golf, especially at the end of his swing when the arm is fully stretched.

After working through dry needling, manual therapy, shockwave, and strengthening, we’ve moved into more dynamic and golf-specific work. This medicine ball rotational throw helps mimic his swing while teaching him to control his right shoulder and use the muscles around it instead of letting the arm fly out.

I always try to make rehab fun and engaging. Whether it’s a young athlete, a runner, or an older adult, my goal is to challenge people in meaningful ways and help them return to their favorite activities.

We wrapped up with some shoulder strengthening and single arm rows to keep building stability and confidence.

Working with on one of my favorite go-to single-leg stability exercises, the skater squat 🛹 🦵🏻

This one’s tough. It challenges balance, control, and strength all in one. A lot of people rush it or let their knee cave in, but with the right cue (and a little help from the slant board by ) it becomes a game-changer for building knee stability.

Vic and I have been working on rehabbing a previous knee injury that’s affected his ability to skate and move the way he wants, so we’re dialing in the details to get him strong, stable, and confident again to get back to skateboarding and continue inspiring others

Sample programming for my soon to be released Obey Strength Guild Training Program. Almost all of my training involves a power movement, strength work, followed by a short conditioning workout to stay athletic, strong, and build an engine.

but let’s be clear he’s still faster than me by about 40 mph. 😂

Two years ago I couldn’t even do one. Started with slow eccentrics, built up with small bounces, and now 11 no-touch, no-bounce Nordics.

Shoutout to Tyreek Hill for setting the bar 🔥 and to for creating the Nordic Back Extension V2, an absolute game-changers for building strong hamstrings.
