Macro counting can be super confusing and honestly intimidating! When I first started almost two years ago I spent hours reading and learning everything I could because I was determined to make it work - now my goal is to help you get there quicker & in a less stressful manner 😬
𝙵𝚒𝚛𝚜𝚝 𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚙 to counting macros is knowing what your macros should be! What are macros? They are the MACROnutrients that make up calories!
You can get a ꜰʀᴇᴇ macro check in my link to find out where you should be!
*unlike other macro groups, you do not have to post your stats in here to get a macro check. I work completely through email!
𝚂𝚎𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚙 is to understand that you can do what I call “loose” counting or “specific” counting. Will you get results with the first version? Yes but much slower than when being specific.
What’s the difference? Loose counting will allow you to look at a nutrition label and use what the macros listed are (with no additional thought or calculation). Meanwhile specific counting will have you plug in those numbers to a macro counter, my preference is MM+, to be extremely specific.
Want to take it up a notch? Get a scale! This seems like a lot of work but it will make you the most successful 100%.
𝚃𝚑𝚒𝚛𝚍 𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚙 is right here right now commit to two things. Consistency & learning. Without either of those, you won’t see the progress you want to see! Perfection isn’t expected here.
Will you have to count and weigh forever? No. Especially not if you do it right out the gate. I was able to spend ~5 months without counting and maintained my weight completely.
This is a lifestyle. Get ready to change your life!
