Today I’ve spun 45 times around the sun ☀️, and almost 19 of those years thriving as a fruit-based vegan frugivore 🌱 Why do I keep living and eating this way? Because no BODY 🐮, myself included, has to suffer at meal time. The old me was depressed, sick, 40 pounds heavier, and drifting without purpose.

And yes, I’m back to doing “What I eat in a day” reaction videos (I’ve missed tearing into those!). YouTube isn’t a fan, so you might not see them pop up, but the link’s in my bio. 🙌🏼

Did you know that human breast milk isn’t just the sweetest of all mammalian milks but also the only one consistently found to contain fructose, regardless of the mother’s diet? No other species, not even our primate cousins, comes close.

This isn’t random, it’s evolutionary.

Humans are biologically wired to metabolize and thrive on fructose (or fruit sugar) from birth. We are the ultimate fruit-eating species. Just passed 9 years with my best friend 🥹 We have been together almost 24/7 since 2016. We have come so far and been through so much since that first interview we did. We have our challenges like anyone else spending all their time together but honestly 99% of the time we play like kids. Most importantly the connection is getting even deeper after nearly a decade together! My longest relationship yet and hopefully my last👫

I’ve been thriving on a high-sugar, fruit-based diet for over 18 years. Still waiting for the diabetes everyone promised me.

First test: 60g of straight white sugar in grapefruit juice with berries (240 cals). Blood sugar peaked at just 110 mg/dL and returned to baseline by 2 hours. Perfect.

Second test: Large 8 ripe bananas + 40g of white sugar (900 calories, 150g total sugar). Blood sugar peaked at 123 mg/dL and was back to baseline within 3 hours.

Zero crashes. No chaos. Just clean, stable glucose metabolism because my cells aren’t jammed with fat. This way of eating can reverse type 2 diabetes.

Sugar doesn’t cause blood sugar problems, fat does. When your cells are blocked with dietary fat (what I call LipidLock), sugar can’t get in. Remove the fat, and the sugar and insulin flows freely fuelling every organ the way nature intended.

Stop fearing sugar. Start fearing misinformation.

Here is my breakfast blood sugar response. 8 banana smoothie with 40 grams of sugar. About 150 grams of total sugar. One SWEET smoothie! It’s pretty textbook perfect. Shows blood sugar coming back to baseline after 3 hrs. It wouldn’t realistically happen any faster than that as its a 900 calorie meal. If it did then we would be hungry too soon again. This smoothie keeps me satisfied for a good 4hrs.

I keep being told sugar water will give me diabetes or insulin resistance. So, I decided to test it, 60 grams of pure sugar (240 cals) in grapefruit juice with a few berries. I also filmed the whole thing. What happened? You can see a very healthy response here, there is obviously no insulin resistance even though I'm having straight sugar. We know this of course because sugar isn't actually the problem with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes… excess fat is.
