Are you a nurse din po? 😝 If not, let’s study about the topic! 🤩

Identifying foreign tissues in the body and proving defense against infection are the two basic functions of the immune system. A weak immune system means that your body cannot fight off viruses, bacteria, or fungi very well. 🦠

This term is known as immunocompromised which is a health risk especially to transplant recipients. 🧠🫁🫀

Think of your immune system as a strong army. 💪🏻

Depending on why your immune system is compromised, this state can be either permanent or temporary. For many, living with a weakened immune system means a higher chance of illness and infection that is why it is always important to know the cause of it and start treating your body right and your immune system better.

Take note and know more about being immunocompromised and avoid these 5 things that make your immune system weaker!

Also, don’t forget to wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds babies and see you on May 25! 💛💜
