How does food and memory tie together?
Food is a powerful memory anchor because it connects with smell and taste, which are directly tied to the limbic system (emotion + memory center).
Anticipating that scone actually primes the brain’s reward system. That anticipation is often stronger than the treat itself.
When one concept is triggered (like “scone”), related concepts stored in memory become active too (Swiss Days, my friend, the mountains).
Okay, what is your “scone” that brought up memories?
“Change the hearts you know are wrong to find the place where you belong.”

Know Brainerz was the “brain child” of a brain fanatic born out of a desire to know why we all act and react the way we do. A regional supervisor by profession, Rozanne was confused as to why each of the stores she hired management for had such differences in performance when the work environment was so much the same. It was a deep dive into behavioral psychology that gave her insights into why each of us see life so very differently and why some are natural born achievers and other shrink when given the light. Training meetings started producing exciting results and the end result was a higher retention of associates in a climate of industry high turn.
As Rozanne transitioned to teaching marketing at her local college, she realized how critical it was to help students learn how to be “sold on themselves” if they were ever to “sell anything.” Combine her 20 years of experience in the Junior apparel world where she supervised over 150 teens at any given time and her work in youth groups and organizations, Rozanne has a passion for and a sweet spot for the youth of this generation. Know Brainerz LEVEL UP was born out of a two day youth retreat that awakened youth to how much power and potential they have in this world of overt and covert influences. Know Brainerz is a culmination of experience and learning that now can be brought into your home, community and school with the journey of LEVEL UP empowering possibilities course in curriculum form. The 12 week course is supported by a weekly deep-dive chapter support as well as a live Zoom call for all participants in the course.
Know Brainerz - LEVEL UP Empowering possibilities was born out of a two day experiential retreat that brought teens to a keen awareness of the power of direction and creation that they possess when they learn how to level-up in their own lives.
LEVEL UP takes you on a journey of empowerment as you peel back the influencers of today and see how the past has shaped how you react to life. Created in 12 chapters, LEVEL UP is a course curriculum created for private home study, after school groups, home schooling communities and much more.
