Maraming tao ang nai-scam sa investment at insurance dahil sa mga sumusunod:
Kakulangan sa kaalaman (financial literacy)
Marami ang hindi gaanong naiintindihan kung paano talaga gumagana ang investment at insurance, kaya madaling maniwala sa mga pangakong “doble ang pera” o “guaranteed mataas ang kita.”
Masyadong magagandang pangako
Kapag may nag-aalok ng sobrang taas na tubo sa maikling panahon at walang risk, kadalasan red flag na iyon. Sa totoong investment, may risk at hindi laging guaranteed ang kita.
Pressure at emosyon
Minsan ginagamit ang friendship, pamilya, o takot (halimbawa: “last slot na ito”) para mapilit mag-invest agad nang hindi nagre-research.
Hindi lisensyado ang agent o kumpanya
May mga nagpapanggap na financial advisor o insurance agent pero wala namang tamang lisensya o rehistro.
Gustong kumita agad
Dahil gusto ng mabilis na pera, hindi na nagva-validate o nagche-check kung legit ba ang kumpanya.

Takot ng bawat asawa ng seaman ang araw ng medical.

Kahit ilang beses na naming dinaanan… hindi pa rin nasasanay.

Habang naghihintay sa labas ng clinic, kunwari kalmado… pero sa loob, nagdadasal.

“Sana pasado…”
“Sana okay lahat…”
