The National Kidney and Transplant Institute Division of Internal Medicine in cooperation with the IM Alumni Association invite you to our 5th Postgraduate Course:
IMPART 2025: Internal Medicine Practical Advances in Renal, Liver, and Bone marrow Transplantation: Practical Updates for the Modern Internist.

Our postgraduate course is designed to introduce physicians to the basics of transplant, including patient selection, pre- & post-operative care, and management of long-term complications. Along with other program highlights, we invite IM training institutions to join the 5th NKTI IM Quiz show.

Join us for this in-person event on September 3 and 4, 2025 at Novotel Manila, Araneta City, Cubao.

From 2023 to 2025, our residents have excelled in national P*P research contests, earning top distinctions that reflect their commitment to academic and clinical excellence.

In addition, our program has achieved an incredible milestone — 21 consecutive years of a 100% passing rate in the Philippine Specialty Board of Internal Medicine (PSBIM), upholding the legacy this 2025.

The National Kidney and Transplant Institute Division of Internal Medicine also proudly recognizes two of our residents, Dr. Kathleen Azan and Dr. Jeff de Blas, who represented NKTI in the P*P Quezon City Chapter as finalists for the Grand Finals of the 29th Adrian C. Peña P*P Medical Quiz Contest during the 55th Annual P*P Congress held last May 5, 2025 at SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

The NKTI Division of Internal Medicine proudly celebrates the excellence and success of two of our Internal Medicine diplomates, Dr. Theresa Marice P. Rivera and Dr. Vienne D. Pinlac, who brought honor to the division at the 55th Annual Congress of the Philippine College of Physicians held on May 4–7, 2025, at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

Dr. Rivera won 1st Place in the Analytical-Retrospective – Post Resident Category for her original study entitled "Association of Risk Factors with the Incidence of Secondary and Tertiary Hyperparathyroidism among Patients with End Stage Renal Disease on Dialysis undergoing Pre-kidney Transplant Workup in a Tertiary Hospital: a single-arm retrospective study".

Dr. Pinlac won 3rd Place in the Analytical-Retrospective – Resident Category for his original study entitled "Pre-transplant Anti-cytomegalyvirus Immunoglobulin G Titers as Predictor of Cytomegalovirus Infection in Seropositive Filipino Kidney Transplant Recipients: a retrospective cohort study".
