To store your grains for long periods of time, you can dehydrate them. They’ll keep for a very long time with no maintenance, but can take quite a while to revive. Another alternative is to feed with sugar water and store in the fridge. Keep it covered with a cloth or unbleached paper, and store on the lowest shelf of your fridge to avoid cold spots. It will keep for up to 6 months. If you feed every two weeks, it will keep indefinitely
