Today is Reformation Day, the day some 500 years ago that dramatically impacted the Christian church. If you attend a non-Roman Catholic church that proclaims faith in Jesus for salvation, you can thank God for THIS Day.

Martin Luther, the father of modern day faith based preaching, chose this day, October 31st, all Hallows Eve, a CHRISTIAN holiday when Christians prepared themselves to celebrate All Saints Day on November 1st, to proclaim that salvation only comes through faith in Christ.

This is NOT satan’s day, I don’t care what any witch or satanist claims. Satan does not have a day. Every day belongs to the Lord. THIS is the day the Lord has made and we WILL rejoice in it!

This Day changed the World.

Countless millions of people would come to faith in Christ because of this Day.

The stranglehold on the church from Rome was broken on this Day.

The idea that a person could earn their way to heaven was dismissed on this Day.

Today is a great day to live out the Christian faith.

* Strangers will come to our door
* No matter how lovely or frightening these strangers look, we will welcome them and complement them
* We will give them a gift of candy, something they did not earn - just like Christ gives us the gift of his grace that we did not earn.

Those who participate in this day are not worshiping satan. Only those who pray to, sing to or bow down to satan are worshipers of satan. Those who claim otherwise so are ignorant of history and clueless beyond measure.

We will not surrender this Day to the ignorant and fearful.

Today is a GREAT DAY!!
