Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours, there is so much to be thankful for, I am thankful for the love and joy Mia, Sugar, and Tex our miniature therapy horses, bring to our lives. Sugar as usual is thankful for that afternoon nap after a great meal.

Today, Home Town Health Care teamed up with the Bar Rocking R Wildlife Ranch to host the youth from the summer program of Crosswinds Counseling and Wellness.
The littles and middles groups, approximately 30 children, got to meet and interact with Home Town’s three therapy mini horses, MIA, Texas, and Sugar. As well as feed Jett the mini mule and Larry the donkey.
The kids and staff also got to meet Buddy and Valentino, two bottle raised Axis bucks; and feed peanuts to the elk bulls, cows, babies and other Axis deer on the Bar Rocking R property.
The last service animal the kids got to meet was Guardian, a German Shepherd Home Town uses for outreach.
Home Town Health Care and the Bar Rocking R Ranch want to thank Crosswinds Counseling and Wellness and all the littles, middles, and staff for a fun morning together. Today’s adventure again shows “There Is No Place Like Home Town Health Care”.
