Sorry for the late update. It was a long day yesterday and I was pretty tired when I got home along with a slight headache. So the verdict is that they got most of the tumor and the neuro surgeon was pleased with the way things looked. There are some remnants of the tumor they just couldnt get because they sit behind the corotid arteries and it is just too dangerous to go there. There is no talk of chemo or radiation due to the fact that it is benign and they are really small pieces. However those remnants are still producing acth and cortisol which could create problems so my endocrinologist will monitor these. I go back in 6 months and a year for MRI's to monitor for any growth. So one day at a time as I work to get my strength back and continue to heal. Thanks for your continued prayers, it really means a lot to me! Love to all!!

Good morning friends and family!! Just wanted to check in today since it is a big day and ask that you keep me in your prayers. It has been 8 weeks since my surgery and today they will do a MRI to see if they got everything and then I meet with the neurosurgeon. I will also be meeting with the endocrinologist to see what the next step is for the labs that are reporting out of range results. I saw the ENT surgeon yesterday and he said I was healing up nicely so I dont have to see him for 6 months now. One day at a time toward healing!

Hey, everyone. This is Jack. I wanted to thank you for your prayers, texts, calls, and concerns. Just to give you an update on my mom, she's had a really rough week with pain. She met with both surgeons this week. They seem to be satisfied with progress other than she isn't as far along with sinus drainage as they liked for her to be. The last couple of days have been especially hard, and she's currently running a low grade fever. Doctors are monitoring her and not too concerned at this point. Please pray for continued healing and getting past this so-called normal post op stuff. Thanks again for all the texts and messages asking about her. We'll keep you posted.

Good afternoon everyone! Thought I would post an update since many are asking. I am doing very well. John is spoiling me and taking very good care of me. I would like to thank those who have called and sent food this past week. It has helped transition back home and allowed John to focus on me and catching up on things here at the house. I feel like a snotty nosed kid with all the drainage. I am not allowed to blow my nose, bend over, sneeze through my nostrils. If you hadnt heard my biopsy was benign. I go back to see both surgeons on Tuesday and will finish out hopefully the last of the follow up labs next week as well. I feel like a pin cushion since some of them end up having to stick me a few times 😢😢😢. All in all, other than slight headaches and the need for frequent naps I think it is a miracle that I can get around pretty good and show no signs of just having brain surgery. God is amazing!! Thanks so much for all your continued prayers! Love you all!!

Ok, so this me, mom! Lol! Have to make this one post and you wont be hearing from me for several days. While I am home, I am completely exhausted and beyond functioning. They have poked and prodded at me 2 day on the hour every hour. I look like a pin cushion and have holes in the side of my head, which I will explain later. Not feeling the best at the moment, but Im sure will be fixed with a lot of rest. So I will more than likely sleep for a few days. I have to be back at labs on Monday and Thursday next more. So keep the prayers coming over these next days. They say everyday gets easier and I will be draing some pretty ugly stuff! Lol!

Good Morning To All,
Just wanted to give you the praise report on Teresia. She is doing very well, no headache or sore throat. Still has to breathe out of mouth, but starting to get a little air flow through one nostril. Doctor said she might be able to go home this evening or tomorrow morning. Still waiting on biopsy report, should receive it Friday or Monday. Thanks to all of you for your love, prayers, and support. John

More updates! The surgery definitely went well without any complications. They won't know the results of the tumor until Friday or Saturday. My mother's gonna be sore for a while, so we'll continue to keep her in prayer.

Update! My mother just got out of operation, and it went well. They got most of the stuff out, and there may be residual effects. So far, it looks like the tumor is benign. I'll continue to keep you posted. Thanks again for your prayers. Keep those prayers coming!
