Guess what my favourite procedure is as an aesthetic clinician…? It’s treating the lips of a mature client ❤️❤️❤️
The difference it can make is quite profound and clients absolutely love the results.
We all know it. Lips are not like wine… they do not get better with age. They often lose volume, develop unwanted lines and turn down at the corners. Clients regularly ask whether it’s possible to restore them to their “former glory” without making them look “fake” or “overdone” like some of the not-so-subtle lips they see in the media.
The good news is, that with a subtle lip treatment and careful placement of filler it is possible to have a fuller, more youthful pout again - without looking overdone.

It’s important that we keep everyone safe and follow the recommendations when new advice comes to hand. As such, I will not be able to treat you with dermal filler 2 weeks before, or 2 weeks after your Covid Vaccination.
Please see Summary of ASAPS – ASCD advice on cosmetic injectables:
⭐️
1. The risk profile with respect to timing procedures in patients undergoing Covid-19 vaccinations may vary between Antiwrinkle, Dermal Fillers, and Laser and Energy-Based Devices.
⭐️
2. The risk for antiwrinkle and Laser and Energy-Based Devices is low and there is not enough evidence to support a recommendation to change practice.
⭐️
3. We recommend that you exercise caution and defer treatment if symptoms develop after vaccination
⭐️
4. Tissue Fillers, on the other hand, appear to have a small risk profile.
⭐️
5. For tissue filler injections, we would recommend an interval of at least 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after COVID vaccination.
⭐️
6. Previous treatment with fillers is not a contraindication to being vaccinated.
⭐️
