We are appalled by what is happening here in our home state of Massachusetts due to the unconstitutional actions of ICE. Whether you agree with a person's opinion or not, what has happened to Tufts Ph.D. student Rumeysa Ozturk should be deeply concerning to all. We stand with Rumeysa Ozturk.

Many peaceful protests are happening in our state and around the country, and our chapter will be participating in the Hands Off - Boston on Saturday, April 5th. Click here

ANDOVER, MA: Since 2017, Jennifer Warren, owner of Warren Advocacy, has supported families in the special education process as an advocate and trainer.

Through her work as a trainer, Jennifer has found that “coaching families allows me to meet them where they are, help them build on what they’ve learned, and provide 1:1 guidance. I find the coaching model very exciting and rewarding.” Starting immediately, Jennifer will be moving her advocacy support from school-based meetings to a parent coaching model.

Jennifer is also expanding her coaching services to include executive skills coaching for college students. Under the new name JFW Coaching, she will work directly with college students to help them improve their executive skills such as time management, initiation, attention, and planning. Her goal is to motivate students to build on smaller successes in order to reach their larger goals. “Jennifer’s advocacy work brings extraordinary experience and resourcefulness to her coaching”, says a fellow coaching colleague.

Have you wondered why a child or an adult you know struggles to meet certain expectations or manage their behavior?

At Think:Kids, we know that everyone does well if they can, not if they want to. If someone is struggling to meet expectations or isn't behaving the way that we would like, it isn't because they don't want to. It's likely because they struggle with the skills required to handle the situation well. Whether waiting in line, sitting still, focusing on work, or maintaining composure when upset, any situation can be challenging without the right set of Thinking Skills.

Join us for a free, one-hour, self-paced online course to learn more about the five areas of Thinking Skills we all use every day. You will be able to assess your skills, or the skills of others, using our Thinking Skills Assessment and learn firsthand why people do well if they can.
