A medida que el 2024 llega a su fin, es el momento perfecto para reflexionar y establecer metas para el nuevo año. But, how can you ensure that all members of your team feel included and valued?

Here are some strategies:

☑️ Encourage open communication: Foster a safe environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts, ideas, and concerns without the fear of being judged.
☑️ Show genuine appreciation: Recognize and acknowledge the efforts and achievements of your team members. Even a simple "thank you" can have a significant impact.

🌍✈️ Moving to a new country can be an exciting experience, but it's completely normal to feel sad when leaving behind loved ones and familiar places. In this situation, fostering a healthy detachment can be helpful in dealing with these mixed feelings and managing potential stress and anxiety related to this move.

Healthy detachment means acknowledging those feelings of sadness and loss while creating space for the new experiences that await. We can appreciate all the good moments and all the amazing people we met, but we can still feel excited about all the possibilities our new place holds for us. This allows us to focus on the present moment, embrace the change, and start building a fulfilling new chapter in our lives.

Here are some strategies to promote healthy detachment:
😊 Express your feelings: Allow yourself to experience sadness, fear, excitement, etc. Talk to people you trust or simply write in a journal.
🎉 Celebrate closure: Plan some farewell events and rituals, finish pending things to do in your current host country, or visit all your favorite places before leaving.
🤗 Embrace what is coming: Start exploring your new place before departing. Learn more about the local language, food, and traditions, and keep yourself open to new experiences.
🎨 Maintain your identity: Many things will be different in your new place, but you are not losing who you are, your hobbies, interests, and values. Continue to practice all these features no matter where you go.
