Did you know that certain habits can worsen your TMD symptoms and cause chronic jaw pain? Take note of these common habits to avoid and give your jaw joint a break:

Another piece of evidence that biofeedback training could be a promising treatment approach for dental problems and temporomandibular disorders!

A 2019 study by Saito-Murakami et al. suggests that using daytime EMG biofeedback training can effectively reduce both awake and sleep bruxism.

17 male participants underwent 3 weeks of EMG measurements during daytime and sleep. The biofeedback group receiving one week of daytime biofeedback training to remind them of undesirable clenching activity. Results showed a significant decrease in tonic EMG events in both daytime and nighttime for the biofeedback group, suggesting a potential treatment approach for bruxism-related issues.
