Our ego is our greatest enemy.

I was meditating how my ego has in the past ruined something for me. I thought of something that happened a long time ago that brought me so much pain. In that situation my pride (ego) robbed me of allowing myself to express what I was feeling and to fight for what I wanted.

If you don't fight for what you want no one else can do it for you. Only you know what you want and what you feel. Because I was not able to express these feelings they stayed with me for years and tormented me. These emotions lead me on a self-destructive path where I was seeking something that was impossible to obtain and one bad decision led to another completely changing my life in a way that was irreversible leaving me to just have to live with the consequences of letting my pride silence me.

So I ask you to ask yourself two things

1. How does my ego show up the most? (example pride)

2. Is my ego robbing me of something? (example happiness)

Just to spread a little wisdom out into the Instagram world. Comment with one word something our ego can rob us of
