BREAKING NEWS ๐Ÿšจ

An intense fighting erupted in Ethio-South Sudan bordering point between SSPDF forces and Ethiopian police forces.

Local sources reported that the SSPDF forces reportedly initiated shelling a densely populated civilians area across the river on the border side of Burebiey-Ethiopia.

In response, the Ethiopian police forces returned fires on the SSPDF forces across the South Sudan side of the river and intense exchanges of gunfire between SSPDF forces and Ethiopia police intensified.

This is the first major incident involving military clashes erupted between Ethiopia police forces and South Sudan soldiers at their joint borders, since the arrival of SSPDF soldiers, who appeared to be indisciplined, showed recklessness and acting as armed civilians who happened to be in military uniforms and with military equipments.

This is developing story.

Short story! ๐Ÿ˜‡

A 72 year old man was on a bus from Gambella to Nyinenyang. When the bus reached the middle of the jungle, the conductor started asking for the money from the people who were on the bus.

The old man checked his pockets and found that his wallet was stolen. The man was
suddenly about the incident and started asking the entire bus to return a wallet.

Old man: If anyone has picked my wallet please return it, I don't want what happened in 1992 to happen again. Everyone on the bus was quiet.
Old man: I repeat myself, if anyone has picked my wallet please return it. I don't want what happened in 1992 to happen again.

The old man repeatedly said the same words. "Am saying this for the last time." Before he could even finish the sentence, one man produced the wallet and gave it to the old man and the man paid the conductor his fare.

When they reached Pamdong, one man(suspect) asked the Old man. "What happened in 1992?"

And the old man replied, "I walked on foot from Gambella to Nyinenyang just because someone stole my money.๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

During a robbery, the bank robber shouted to everyone in the bank: "Don't move. The money belongs to the State. Your life belongs to you."

Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. This is called "Mind Changing Conceptโ€ Changing the conventional way of thinking.

When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: "Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a r**e!"

This is called "Being Professionalโ€ Focus only on what you are trained to do!

When the bank robbers returned home, the younger robber (MBA-trained) told the older robber (who has only completed Year 6 in primary school): "Big brother, let's count how much we got."

The older robber rebutted and said: "You are very stupid. There is so much money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV news will tell us how much we robbed from the bank!"

This is called "Experience.โ€ Nowadays, experience is more important than paper qualifications!

After the robbers had left, the bank manager told the bank supervisor to call the police quickly. But the supervisor said to him: "Wait! Let us take out $10 million from the bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 million that we have previously embezzled from the bankโ€.

This is called "Swim with the tide.โ€ Converting an unfavorable situation to your advantage!

The supervisor says: "It will be good if there is a robbery every month."

This is called "Killing Boredom.โ€ Personal Happiness is more important than your job.

The next day, the TV news reported that $100 million was taken from the bank. The robbers counted and counted and counted, but they could only count $20 million. The robbers were very angry and complained: "We risked our lives and only took $20 million. The bank manager took $80 million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be educated than to be a thief!"

This is called "Knowledge is worth as much as gold!"

The bank manager was smiling and happy because his losses in the share market are now covered by this robbery.

This is called "Seizing the opportunity.โ€ Daring to take risks!

So who are the real robbers here?

Bul Nuer bombardment by the government.

Mayom fought for President Kiir. They were called Terchuong, meaning they fought for the right.
They did everything they could, terrorising the entire Unity State, raiding cattle, burning kids and elders in the house in the name of Kiir, and did inhumane acts that have never happened.

Where in hell did they bombard them for?
Because they are Naath?
This is betraying at the highest level by the government.

To those who believe that Bul can fight the government and can get away with it by defeating the government.

That's not true, they will be disciplined like every Nuer who fought the government and ended in vain due lack of ammunition support.
Their elders, who can support them, are trapped in Juba and will end up in a blue house in case Bul fights the government.
This time it's eyes to eyes.

Let the suffering continue until we come to our senses and unite.

Whose right you fought for????????

The Government must treat all citizens Equally, Regardless of Tribes and Political differences

By: ~Psychologist Thuok Gach Mayual
3rd May, 2025

Early this morning, I received a call that shattered my sense of peace: The call indicates that "Fangak has beenโ€”bombed by the government of South Sudan." I was shocked, and at a loss of words, I found myselfโ€”grappling with the reality of our country's situation. I asked myself: Where is South Sudan heading to?

Previously, innocent civilians were killed in Nasir and Ulang and Longechuk in what was "described" as revenge for Majur Dak. Now, it happened in Fangak? Did the residents of old Fangak commitโ€”crime against the government for them to deserve this punishment? what have they done wrong to warrant this aggression from their own government?

Recently, L*l Ruai issued the statement warning the people of Fangak and leer to free the detainedโ€”barges. If this could be the justification of bombardment, why not targets the SPLM-IO headquarters and other places where the IO military personnel are stationed? because those detained boats are under the control of militaryโ€”personnel not the hand of civilians. This act is not only a violation of human rights but also breaches the military protocol. Military is trained to protect the civilians and not turn against them.

I strongly condemn this act in the strongest possible terms. I urge the government to treat all citizens equally, regardless of their affiliation or circumstances.

South Sudan was liberated with the hope of having a country that treats its people equally and fairly. If some people are given preferential treatment while others suffer, then the vision of millions who lost their lives in the road of freedom has gone in vain.

conclusion

I urged the government to refrain from misusing its power. Let that power be used in a manner that unites us as one people, rather than causingโ€”division and violence.

A day before, Dinka armed youth disarmed 13 SSPDF soldiers in Tonj-Warrap, and no aerial action was taken by SSDPDF. The same action in Nuerland is responded to differently. Yesterday, SSPDF threatened โ€˜aerial actionโ€™ over boats hijacking in Pangak-Jonglei. Today morning, they bombed Old Pangak, burning in ashes the MSF hospital, and killing civilians. The Dinka elites may defend their action by stating โ€œWell, 13 SSPDF in Dinka-land were just disarmed, not killedโ€. Yet, the reality shows the opposite otherwise. Longechuk, and Ulang counties of Nuerl communities were aerial bombed when they did nothing against the so-called government or SSDPF.

The Nuer politicians in Juba are defending the same government that has been on a mission to kill their Nuer civilians. Where do Nuer politicians in Juba bring their politics from? If it's from school, congratulations, they have graduated from idiotic studies. Because in this article, I am using scientific evidence to show that nationalism politics our Nuer leaders in Juba exercise is โ€œthe politics of the bellyโ€.

When the Nuer civilians were aerial bombed by the government of Dinka elites using Ugandan-hired gunships, Nuer leaders, public figures, and educated folks who defend their tribe against state violence are often labeled as "tribalists," while those Nuer elites who side with the government claim the covering of "nationalists."
However, according to the research conducted by De Vries & Justin in 2019, they wrote that โ€œSince 2013, the conflict has taken on a distinctly ethnic dimension, with the Dinka-dominated government targeting the Nuer people in systematic massacres (de Vries & Justin, 2019)โ€.

The South Sudan government, which is dominated by Dinka Elites, has armed โ€œnationalismโ€ to strengthen power. According to Johnson (2016), the ruling Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) faction under President Salva Kir has essentially designed its authority for national unity, while simultaneously using Dinka militias to meet ethnic killings. It aligns with the criticism of the sub-colonial African states of the Mamdani (2001), where the ruling elites have manipulated ethnic identity to maintain power while suppressing dissatisfaction under the guise of nationalism. The 2013 Juba Genocide, where Nuer Citizens were hunted by door-to-door (Human Rights Watch, 2014),is an example of how the state acts as an ethnic elite. The use of the government of Uganda's gunship in 2025 to deploy chemical weapons in Nuer counties of Nasir, Ulang, and Longechuk, now with Fangak further shows further its "nationalist" intentions for the massacre (D Wall, 2015). In such a context, the Nuer leaders who support the government are used to carry out the massacre of their own people, while those Nuer leaders, public figures who oppose are termed โ€œtribalistโ€.

Critics often dismiss tribalism as a regressive force, but in South Sudan, tribal solidarity serves as a living mechanism against state violence. As Hachinson (2001) has noted, Nuer has historically held kinship lines to oppose external domination - under British colonialism, then under the rule of Khartum, and now under Dinka elites. When the state becomes an agent of ethnic destruction, tribal harmony is a rational response (Waal, 2018). The Nuer leaders who prioritize the security of their community are not rejecting nationalism, but are opposing a state that has failed to protect them. This aligns the concept of "daily resistance" with the concept of Scott (2009), where groups of margins use informal networks to combat oppression. In contrast, the Nuer leaders who are in favor with the government despite their atrocities, is called "collaborative nationalism" in Fanon (1961), where elite co-optation undermines genuine liberation.

Nuer Elites that alliance with a regime that has destroyed its own people should be investigated for political opportunism. Their claims for nationalism are not in any perspective of inclusive citizenship, but in personal benefits and elite protection. As noted by Bayart (1993), African political elites often use the language of nationalism while engaging in โ€œthe politics of the belly,โ€ where state power is a means to extract resources and maintain patronage. In addition, Anderson (1983) The theory of nationalism is relevant as a "fictional community": the "nation" of South Sudan remains an aristocratic project that excludes minorities. Nuer leaders who reject this exclusion nationalism are not tribals, but are realistic who believe that the present state is a vehicle for Dinka Domination (Leonardi, 2013).

๐‘ช๐™ค๐’๐™˜๐’๐™ช๐’”๐™ž๐’๐™ฃ

Dualism between nationalism and tribalism in South Sudan is false. The manipulation of the Dinka Elite of Nationalism has resulted in ethnic cleansing, which is an essential form of tribal solidarity resistance. The Nuer leaders who are in favor of their people are promoting partitions but challenging a genocide regime. Meanwhile, the so-called "nationalist" leaders enable state violence by legalizing a repressive system. True nationalism should be inclusive, not a cover for ethnic domination. Tribal resistance remains a legitimate and morally defensive stance until the South Sudan government represents all tribes equally. I still stand that Nuer and Dinka are not enemies of each other but are agitated by leading elites for a political gain. Iโ€™m optimistic that South Sudan will one day get peace and become a democratic nation, and South Sudanese will elect their own leaders from local to national level. It will be a time when the representatives will defend their constituents who elect them so that true nationalism is evident. All the traitors will not have a place in South Sudan politics as no one will elect them.

An Elephant ๐Ÿ˜ took a bath in the river and was walking on the road, when it neared the bridge, it saw a pig ๐Ÿ– fully soaked a mud on other side coming from opposite direction. The Elephant ๐Ÿ˜ quietly moved to one side of the road and allowed the dirty pig ๐Ÿท to pass, the unclean pig later speak to it's friends in arrogance, saying see how big I'm, even the elephant ๐Ÿ˜ was afraid of me and moved to one side of the road to let me pass. On hearing this, some elephants questioned their friends for it's action, was it out of fear? The Elephant ๐Ÿ˜ smiled and replied, I could have easily crushed the pig ๐Ÿ– under my legs, but I was clean and the pig ๐Ÿท was very unclean, by crushed it, my leg would become dirty and I wanted to avoid it. Hence, I moved to side.
